Unfortunately, people are not recognizing that a lot of the "invalidated" ballots, were ones that were turned in by voters requesting another ballot. On one of CNN's town hall's in Palm Beach county, one of the poll workers said that a number of voters turned in ballots that they had made mistakes on, and asked for new ones. Also, there is the assumption that everyone had to have voted for a presidential candidate. Another false assumption. So now when a ballot has no presidential candidate selected, it is considered an "invalid" ballot.
