EP, one of the local Si Valley stations' news had a bit on the P4 this a.m.. Stressed the 1.4 - 1.5 GHz all over the place, of course, the woman news person asking the guy partner if he'd like to have a PC with all that speed. Said, sure, I'll take a car that does 150 also. They stressed the P4's optimization for 3D imaging, etc., a chip for the upcoming trends (right now). Showed some rendered ocean windsailing scenes and car racing in a cool game (Quake 3?). Then, showed an AMD guy in a suit next to a green assembly line, saying the Athlon still beats the P4 in quite a few tests.
Pizzaz, performance-speak, and otherwise, the clip definitely favored the P4.
