I think that greater care should be taken in characterizing the faith of millions of people. Do you know what the largest Muslim country is? Indonesia! Turkey may have, at one time, threatened Europe, but it is now an ally in NATO. The Turkic peoples of Central Asia, mainly in the former Soviet republics, have been fairly peaceable. Even among the Arabs, there are fairly peaceable kingdoms, like Morocco, and countries where most citizens are moderate, like Egypt, and our view is affected by the radical fringe, only some of whom are inspired by Islam. Remember, some of the Palestinian terrorists have been Christian, and, in fact, Arafat's wife is a Christian Palestinian.
As for the Democrats, some of them are quite nice, only some are hateful......... |
