Er, not to repeat or anything, but you see what you want to see. Judges are routinely called upon to resolve ambiguities and conflicts in laws. Campaign co-chairs are welcome to state their opinions on how such conflicts should be resolved, but except for the Florida Bush co-chair, they don't usually proclaim that their opinions are the final word and infallibly correct.
