You're probably right. I was thinking, however, that if a person does a channel check, the information obtained is private, or non-public, even though it was obtained from a public source.

Perhaps it's not so much whether one posts non-public information, as it is whether one posts information obtained from a non-public source. In other words, is non-public information the same thing as a non-public source of information?

I guess I've got a mental block, or something, on this. <g>
