John, are you making fun of things down there now too? (Maybe you have been all along, but I recall a "testy" reply or two to posts about FL's, shall we say, demographics)." I got a bit irritated when people blamed Florida for the current mess. It's generally accepted that our election laws are better than most states, worse than some. I think the people that are doing the work in South Florida are mostly working very hard and trying to do a good job, and are as bipartisan as you could hope for. Then again we've got our share of partisan Wacko's, and if we don't have enough plenty have come down from other states to help out. Bottom line is I think this could have happened anywhere. But I do have a sense of humor about Florida in general, you couldn't live here without one. John
