Sorry to be so slow to acknowledge your thoughtful response - it was very helpful in reducing my confusion. Thank you. I don't find your messages to be long-winded at all, or, generally speaking, to be confusing either. They are very illuminating on product and market issues. I'm sure the problem in this case was simply my own lack of understanding.

If I want confusing, I read the messages from these fellows who prattle on about support levels and breakouts and crossover points and islands (???). I'll stick with balance sheets, income statements and cash flows, thank you very much.
