At no time did I advance the theory you attribute to me.
And they theory I attributed to you was:
that a dimple could somehow appear in a ballot when the voter did not intend to vote for any candidate
Well, you started out with a variation that dimpled or pregnant chads were the aborted attempt to vote,

Could it be argued with equal authority that a pregnant chad represents nothing more than a voter starting to vote for a candidate and deciding not to cast a ballot? If not, why not?
but when asked to defend the idea that people would rise, stand in line, sign the registration to get a ballot, start to vote and then change their mind, you instead changed your story.
Believe it or not, people cast ballots for many reasons, and not all of them care one way or another about the Presidential race.

It seems pretty clear here that you are claiming that the dimpled or pregnant chads are the result of voters who were only coming to the polls for the local races. Well, that is pretty much the ridiculous theory I trashed. Did you have yet another theory for dimpled chads?
