Sorry for the delay in responding. I agree that your post states what SHOULD have been done (process). You may be giving the justices more credit than they deserve. I'm not meaning to suggest they did not review, etc, only that the question about Texas law was inane and not germane (no rhyme intended) to their task. TRIO
