Wild Rice stuffing

1/4 cup wild rice
1/4 cup brown rice
1 1/2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon
1 cup water
1/8 teaspoon ground sage or nutmeg
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped celery
3 green onions, sliced
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds or pine nuts.

Rinse wild rice in a strainer under cold water about 1 minute. In a medium saucepan combine wild rice, brown rice, bouillon, sage or nutmeg, and 1 cup water. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
Add mushrooms, celery, and green onions. Cook covered over medium heat for 10 to 20 minutes. Stir in nuts.
**Note
For a different flavor try.
Nutmeg and 1 1/4 cups water.
Add 1/2 cup snipped dried apricots or apples to cooked rice with mushrooms.
