Bingo. In fact a lot of major things are not being said:

1) Steve Case will be in charge and you can expect a lot of fat being cut as TWX & AOL merge.

2) Left unsaid is the fact that the feds are not going to set pipeline prices. So AOL/TWX and T can set whatever prices they can get away with. That's what is happening right now. Note that ATT is now a part of the family having ownership in both RR and ATHM. This means no price wars.

3) The delivery of movies and multimedia is waiting in the wings.

4) AOL/TWX have had months now to plan things so there should be fairly dramatic moves as soon as approval is allowed.

The possibilities are limitless but nobody wants to move a muscle until the FCC gets out of the way.
