SNN is a $4.8b company, EXAC $100m. This is interesting from the 9/26 column: O'Donnell expects "bolt-ons" -- acquisitions -- to add two to three percentage points to sales growth. The company has been acquiring small high-tech companies. Problem is, "there's very little that's actually available" to buy, he said. "What we'd like to do is get up from 10% to the low teens," he said. "The aim is to exit 2001 with that growth rate." WT
