I agree cheryl, it is not unrelated. However, the endless, inane and repetitive political comments here do not assist objectivity.

The real or 'paper' losses experienced by SUNW stockholders recently were, painful as they may be, not caused by political circumstances. The losses were caused by those who decided to own the stock as the market entered a serious bear phase.

Investors can blame their losses on anyone they choose (even Al Gore) ... especially if it makes them feel better ... but whether or not such course will help them make profitable decisions in the future is questionable.
