Just curious, but do you seriously believe that if the names of the plaintiff and defendant had been reversed the ruling would have been the same? It seems clear enough that Harris simply performed her duties under the law, yet was labeled by Gore supporters as a 3rd Rate Political Hack. It seems clear enough that the real political hacks are on the bench in Florida. LOL But the decision was as I predicted a week ago based solely on the assumption that as political hacks they would rule in favor of Gore, so it comes as no surprise to me. The important thing to me here is that the US Supreme Court needs to decline to get involved. Clearly they could overrule the Florida Court, but only at the cost of losing credibility in the eyes of half the people in the country. Better to have a truly independent judiciary with the respect of the people than to have this case overturned. Carl
