I appreciate you copying the post over here. I've bookmarked the "dead" Gemplus thread hoping it will come to life.

FWIW, I also have a very high opinion of Gemplus.

On a different subject, I ordered a smart card reader from American Express last night. I've had their Blue card for awhile, but never got around to ordering the reader.
