And I hope that when my turn comes (which it will), I handle it as well as you did.

My sister sent me that story, as it reminded her of an incident with our father. He had just got his (practically) new car back from the body shop. Gleaming coat of paint, not a scratch on it, not a dent on the car. My sister tried to back it out of the garage, and scraped it all along the side.

She ran crying into the house, wanting Dad to take the car out for her. He gritted his teeth and told her to get back in and do it herself. Just "get back on the horse." She never forgot it.

It's a journey, isn't it?

Regards.
