Agree this was a factor. We were very hopefully that the rain forecast in Michigan would come true on election day. It did not.

A bigger factor is that we not have put our best foot forward. I like Bush, but I always had my concerns (voiced on this thread last spring many, many times) that Bush could take the middle and of course the win.

Tv election calls, a win-at-all costs Gore, partisan courts and boards, a weak counter-attack (which I think was on the high road for a while). It all adds up to trouble.

I have lost a TON of money in the last two weeks. Just a ton. Took me years to make it and now its gone. No ones fault but my own, and I will make it back. The damage to the country might not be so easy to forget.

Elephants never forget.
