The comment about JFK being gone exactly 37 years is interesting. I think every "era" has a punctuation mark.

JFK's asassination was the punctuation to the "Leave it to Beaver" 1950's era.

Nixon's resignation was the punctuation to the radical 1960's/Vietnam era.

The swearing in of Ronald Reagan/End of the Iran Hostage Crisis was the punctuation to the disco-stagflation-gas lines 1970's era.

The Gulf War was the punctuation to the Reagan-Early Bush era.

Impeachment turned out to be a NON-punctuation but I suspect this non-election will be the punctuation to something. Hopefully NOT the great bull market.
