I remember vividly 1972 when Eagleton was McGovern's VP choice

he had a mere heart murmur and was run out of town, off ticket
the former Senator from Missouri was replaced by Sargent Shriver
by the way, Eagleton was a personal friend of a family we knew
the guy taught at UMissu Law School in Columbia, the capital
they were excited to know a VP candidate, oops

now Cheney has history of three minor heart attacks
or heart incidents
and he clears thru the health inspection process

just curious, but why the more lax health standard now?

I suppose BJ Clinton lead the way to change this standard
he was the first president in history who defied the law
by NOT providing a health record and physical examination
prior to inauguration

only defiant president in history !!!
my guess: didnt want to reveal effects of cocaine
or personal medication or both
just how could BJ talk his way out of a nosal perforation?
