Ron, it's amazing how blind we are. China can not be trusted. I worked with 3 chinese people at one time. 2 were from the mainland, 1 from Taiwan. He let me in on an earful. The two hated him, but he was right. As a country, we can't see it: just as long as it's cheap. I am by no means prejudiced, but the chinese communist mindset is a serious thing to deal with. You can bet your life they did steal those nuclear secrets. Your other points are correct. The RR are perceived as evil when in reality they are just trying to restore some decency and order in this land. What's happening is the reverse. Here's another thought. Israel is perceived in a pretty bad light recently. You have Amnesty Int'l among others saying war crimes are being committed. You have Egypt pulling their ambassador out. Their only strong ally is the US who winks at everything being done there. On the other side, we expect the Saudi's and others to meet our requests for oil increases etc. Look for $50 oil, with a few more well-planned terrorist attacks as they perceive Liebermann as an added kick in the face.
