Mao...could not agree with you more...SI is watching and it is not pretty...censorship and Big Brother tactics from a group that supposedly encourages a community environment...I got booted for simply sending a PM to the SI Admin folks after they warned me on a post that was simply a restatement of Senate hearings on Clarence Thomas (a Senator can say it on national TV, but not myself on SI!)...next thing I know, I'm suspended without a note or rationale...3 days later I get a note indicating that I could not use the "h*mp" word for sex...I then sent a message to admin folks indicating a) the word is in the dictionary and b) I did a search on all posts on the G. Bush thread that had the F, S or other vulgarity in it and found literally 100's of posts....and guess what, ALL these folks were posting the same crap without suspension!...also, this thread is loaded with neo Nazis and KKK types, but SI seems to be blind to these vicious postings...I can understand if the same rules applied to all, but a) a bit oversensitive (aka censorship) and b) very selective in who they boot and for what reasons.
