That is ridiculous. They picked the 26th/27th as a compromise date that would give the other side time to protest and still meet the Dec 12 date for selection of the electors.

That was a waste of time on my part. IF you disagree with a court's interpretation of the law, then you simply dismiss it as "rewriting the law".

This is a chasm wider than I thought. I said earlier that whoever wins this thing is probably a one term president.

Now I'm wondering if the winner will even last one term.
The hatred is unbelievable.

I don't hate Bush. I don't believe he is the best qualified for the office, but I certainly don't hate him. Some of his ideas I can live with, some I can't. But my main problem is that I don't believe he is the best suited for the position.

But some of you people really hate Gore don't you? In fact, I think that there are probably a few out there that hate him (and especially Clinton) in the "Lee Harvey Oswald" sense of that word.

Today is November 22nd by the way.
