RE:"There were in excess of 970+ votes for Gore in those "noisy" counties......no small number in this election.....so I hardly think these votes can be written off as so much "noise". As for the 2 democratic counties having a large share of the missing votes....do you think their vote counters were only Democrats?"

Let me 'splain something....

Pinellas county (where I was born, BTW) found about 400 more votes for Gore because they found a retirement community precinct had not been counted...This was a mistake at the poll...and was corrected.
No suspect tally there...

Palm Beach County (where I live now) found about 700 more votes for Groe on the machine recount...
Short of missing a precinct...no other county in the state even came close to that amount of new found votes for Gore during the machine recount. I think this is very suspicious...
There ahve even been reports of votamatic machines in the trunks of Boca Raton councilmen. No one has said for sure if those 700 votes were tainted...but they do look suspicious...in light of the brewhaha over the butterfly ballot...
