yebo...the credit/asset bubble is imploding left and right...real estate is next in line.

i actually believe that several big players (hedge funds, financial firms) are already in trouble over the blowing out of credit spreads, plunging stock prices, non-recoverable bridge loans (mostly to telcos) and wrong way bets on the yield curve. i expect rumors to begin to swirl soon, and some announcements as well. i even think the car companies will get into trouble over their financing deals eventually.

we may get , or may already be seeing, forced liquidations by highly leveraged big boyz. the lower the market sinks, the wider credit spreads get, the MORE likely a LLCF.
