<really, the NAZ couldn't possibly do a better imitation...and what does that tell us about tech economics going forward? 10-year depression ahead? >

The similarities are absolutely stunning. And when I tell people that we have all the problems Japan had in 1990 and then some, I get the same response: "Nah, our economy is much stronger than theirs. We've got tech."

I'm on the lookout for that first rally they got after nine months or so of decline. I'm pretty sure we have to achieve some capitulation in order for it to start, but I don't want to get caught short there.

Ten-year depression for tech? As inconceivable as it seems, I've got to consider it as a very real possibility.
