Efficient, leveraging its strengths in cell-based solutions, will initially focus on discrete multi-tone (DMT) asymetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) technology, offering both adapter cards and modem products. Efficient will utilize its existing 25 Mbps ATM ASIC, Lanai. Ownership of hardware and software, as well as expertise with buses, operating systems and network integration, will enable Efficient to react quickly to evolving market requirements and deliver reliable cell-based ADSL products
As previously mentioned, some serious ADSL competetion. Efficient uses ADI (Aware license) and as previously noted, will be rolling out end-to-end ADSL at Supercom.
