Cheney should step down and let Bush pick a healthier VP.......the stresses of politics is not to be ignored especially with patients with heart disease. Cheney's symptoms were classic angina or cardiac ischemia......lack of enough blood to the heart. The physician that treated Cheney said that this was not a problem induced by stress. Cheney recognized the symptoms and acting swiftly on them. Wasn't it Gore's attorney that just died after preparing the SC brief the other day.I recall Clinton's Secretary Ron Brown getting killed in a plane crash and he was replaced. Clinton's lawyer shot himself to death (mysteriously) and he was replaced. So if Cheney has a health problem in the future I'm sure it will be addressed. In the meantime calling for him to step down is only a Bugsy type statement to stir up the Republicans.
