She said she spoke to "a senior official at the FBI" but only (3rd paragraph p. 26) about the very broad topic of "possible health-care fraud". This official says NOTHING about diabetes testing, NOTHING about Polymedica. What Einhorn did was talk to other government officials in other departments in an effort to find a story. NOBODY according to her article EVER mentioned Polymedica by name. Einhorn uses an unbelievably flimsy standard of proof in concluding that Polymedica is being investigated by the FBI.

Here is my $25 question. If Polymedica has 80% of this market, who has the other 20%? Is this 20% spread out among several competitors? That is where investigations are being directed, if indeed any investigations are taking place concerning diabetes testing strips.
