"It never ceases to amaze me how two companies who individually are missing the boat think that combining forces will make things better" in fact, this sort of 'teaming' happens quite frequently. and probably, as you observed, seldom to be met with any large degree of success. i've seen real estate agents, for example, who individually were not producing, yet they team up with one another and ultimately transform themselves into guess what? a pair of non-producers! it comes down to both parties thinking and hoping that the other guy will be the driver... the engine, when in fact, both members are cabooses. usually these 'team realtors' will run ads with what they believe to be clever slogans, such as, "get twice the service!", or "double your results!". the sad, sad truth is you still get only half. :) mark
