Seems to have gone a bit quiet around here. Maybe we need to expand the subject matter and relate to the Universe instead of just the Earth. This weeks Nova episode on the renewed interest in one of Einstein's theories was fascinating. Scientists are now finding out that contrary to the big bank theory there are forces continually acting on the millions of galaxies which are in fact accelerating their separation. If one could live long enough the expectation now is that the Milky way may eventually be alone in whatever section of space we happen to be. Wonder if the US will have settled the Presidential Election for 2000 by then???????
