Thanks Estephen for your positive outlook. Unfortunately I am a bit more skeptical regarding the economy and the market. Several predicted rallies did not occur or actually turned into minor and major down-turns. "Tech stocks will rally after the summer lull, will rally towards earning season, will rally when actual good earnings will come out, will rally after the disappointing earning season is finally over, will rally after election ....."
Now we hope that there will be a rally if either Dush or Bore will be the Dimple President. I think there will be a short rally after Florida's vote is decided. But middle of December pre-announcements will start coming out and it will become clear in January that the revenue and earnings growth has been stifled considerably and the economy is landing harshly. So, I do not believe that there will be the usual tech rally in early spring.
The Bus will be somehow unhinged from those developments if we will get court settlements and/or further licensing agreements. I am still a believer in RMBS and a long term investor but I have to say that the recent decline, despite the supposedly good news - Samsung signing, Sony release, new Pentium chip release - has me a bit worried.
Good luck and happy pregnant-chad-turkey-day
