The info from Todd may tell us another piece of the puzzle. For instance any PC manufacturer that takes an opening order for 7 figures must certainly be one of the major players. Using Jim's data:

1. Dell 9.48 million units
2. Compaq 6.82 million units
3. Hewlett-Packard 5.74 million units
4. Gateway 4.56 million units
5. IBM 2.67 million units
6. Apple 2.32 million units
All Others: 16.86 million units
Total U.S. Market: 48.45 million units

I would make a logical guess that one of the top three must have placed that order and perhaps the mid 6 figure order going to any of the top four.

Those announcements will probably be the best that EDIG has ever had.

Just taking a ball park revenue projection from one 6 and one 7 figure order at an average of the $14-$20 figure, [$17] would yield:

400,000 to 600,000 units @ $17 = $6.8 to $10.2 million

1,000,000 units @ $17 = ahh, ummm $17 million

For a grand total of between $23.8 and $27.2 million from just two opening orders for just one product, the TREO.

Following FY 2000 of about $2 million in revenues jumping up to over $20 million would give e.Digital a quadruple digit revenue growth rate.

Perhaps the local knucklehead can give an estimate for PSRs of companies that are growing by quadruple digits.
