Elmer, re: "IMO the Legislature should tell the Courts to go **ck themselves and vote in the Electors of their choosing with the blessings of the U.S. Constitution." Be careful what you wish for. Next time, the election might not be so close, or close at all. And a Democratic legislature may decide to vote in the electors for their candidate, "with the blessings of the US Constitution". The only way to stop them will be the courts. re: "I see Bush now as the likely winner and Gore as the longshot." I hope you are right. John
