That was intentional, I admit. Aimed primarily at the first part of your post. :)

Actually two of GW's relatives live in St. Louis, one bearing the initials H and W.

If Cheney decides to bow out for health reasons, as some have suggested, an ideal and much respected replacement also lives here - Jack Danforth. I mention his name because another candidate, Colin Powell, has stated he does not want to hold an elective office.

I do not mind arguing, but this is Thanksgiving Eve, and our thoughts should be directed to those less fortunate and to giving thanks. To give it a local flavor right now, let me say how much I have enjoyed SI and those who post on it. We live in a great and free country and freely expressed thoughts are always welcome.

May everyone enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving.
