ot robert, I know that earnings are not strong for those 2. they happen to have the cash and networks to turn the corner as sentiment shifts...Given the universe of stocks that are at several year or all time lows, they probably fall down the list. Another factor for 2001 will be the tough YoY comparisons for some of the emerging companies.

If BRCM keeps coming down, it should definitely be considered even though it is still up 80% from its 52 week low.

PMCS actually looks to be growing as fast or faster and is expected to earn more/share in 2001.
