"I won't bother repeating all the sound, logical reasons for AMD to be stuck at $20. Others have done a better job than I on that subject, and you don't want to hear it anyway."

I'd really be interested in a recap of any sound, logical reasons that you seem to feel have been presented that support an AMD price of $20 and not $40...I suspect your ides of "sound, logical, has nothing to do with current fundamentals and everything to do with factors that do not exist in the "here and now", which if so, you're right, I don't hear as I wouldn't weight the value of such "soft" indicators any more heavily than I weighted any of the P4 pre-release hype ad nauseum...The fact frank is that AMD is currently in an ascendant phase, INTC appears to be in a descendant phase...These changing company fortunes are a direct result of AMD's "spry Athy" derivatives...To introduce "non Athy" or non-flash" factors in any analysis is to avoid the reality of AMD's current ascendant phase, one that contrary to some naysayers' beliefs, could outrun in duration, that of the PWeeiii's reign...
