please correct any errors and add depth

Chief Justice is Wm Rheinquist, a Nixon pick
he is largely responsible for widening search&seizure, and probable cause laws, which police now can abuse... some call Rheinq a nazi... I have hated the guy for 20 yrs, but believe he has mellowed

Nixon might have 2-3 picks
Gerry "Da" Ford might have one pick, unsure
Jimma Carter might have one pick, but I really doubt it

but Reagan packed the court after a string of retirements
e.g. Whizzer White
Reagen might have 4-5 picks
e.g. moderate Scalia, and pubic Clarence Thomas
(how could anyone ever forget Clarence?)

BJ Clinton has at least one pick, including female O'Connor

at least 1-2 justices remain from the 1800's
(just kidding)

if I had to guess, I would say this Court comes from 2/3 Republican picks

I expect nonsensical "will of people" crapp to come from Clarence
he might be the biggest lightweight on the bench
perhaps 1-2 others are stodgy in the mental department

these guys are largely apolitical, unlike Florida
the FL Supreme Court is my opinion is full of lightweights
the US Supreme Court has a great deal of integrity and intelligence, and very little partisanship

appreciate more depth to add from anyone
