Excellent points, Barb. Further, the legislation would have to be enacted by Congress first, and since Congress is majority Republican, that seems unlikely, especially since the person screaming the loudest at present in favor of abolishing the Electoral College is Queen Hillary. My guess is that she'll get the Electoral College abolished on the same day she gets National Health Care - and that's the 12th of Never.
