From today's San Francisco Chronicle (11/23/2000) Sun Seeks Approval for 'Digital Dublin' Site ...Sun Microsystem has proposed building a 750,000 square foot of office space on county-owned land near Dublin. (CA not Ireland) ...That's enough space for 2,000 to 3,000 employees.... Carlini(spokesperson) said the company has already announced that it will hire 10,000 more employees in the coming year. nb: Those aren't 10,000 lawyers they are hiring. In other items worth noting, Larry Ellison's America's Cup yacht capsized off New Zealand yesterday when inexplicably it's keel broke off. All 16 crew were tossed in the drink but Larry wasn't amongst them. david
