Hand-counting is a common media term which does not define the process underway. "Hand analysis" is closer to reality. Holding a card up, then using Karnac the Magnificents powers to determine 'voter intent', has next to nothing to do with counting votes. This video is closer to reality than the term "counting the votes". cartoons.wnd.com
