strange FL offset by irresponsible voters

happened in two northern corners of the state

a voting researcher estimates than 10,000 people in the Panhandle failed to vote after hearing on the TV that Gore won FLorida... many turned around while waiting in line inside the voting centers and went home... others turned around in traffic en route to voting centers... the researcher compared voting incidence hour by hour, this year versus last election in 1996... he found a huge difference in the 7-8pm slot, which is Central TimeZone... the Panhandle is overwhelmingly Republican

the StPete Times reports that in JacksonvilleFL, the Democrat machine brought out buses to transport perhaps a few thousand black voters... the great majority were under 22 years old, voting for the first time... before entering their ballots, they were bombarded by coaching efforts... not exactly "vote for Gore", but "BE SURE TO VOTE ONCE ON EVERY PAGE"... well, devastating consequence since on their ballot, the secondary presidential candidates like Buchanan were located ON THE SECOND PAGE... the number of over-votes in Jacksonville was quite large

so Bush lost votes in the Panhandle
and Gore lost votes in Jaxvlle

it does tend to even out
I will bet that just as many little old men & ladies in PanamaCity, Clearwater, FortMyers, Naples, and PortRichey couldnt muster up the strength to completely punch thru on their votes
many were for Bush, as PalmBeach is demonstrating now

Randy Moss and Robert Smith are awesome on Vikings
and one more concussion for Emmett Thomas
these guys put their lives on the line
