Well, interesting day today... I realize that we were the only market open, but it kinda' felt positive...tentative but positive. (Always keeping an eye on those futures.)

I was lurking while you guys/girls were trading... believe me, I didn't have the nerve to go long on CLQ or its stronger sister WIN. Congratulations to all...

BTW, QLT has been pretty strong the last few days considering the down market we are in & that the BTK is (was?) tanking. GLE also looked pretty good...

I was nailed on a positional play today ... but didn't bail (MKX), the surprising thing is (to me) that it tanked @ the open & made a pretty good retracement... in hindsight I should of bailed on the bounce... I know this is a DAYTRADING thread, but, I am wondering if this is normal (I mean 50% to 100+% bounces ie: MKX)... for me it is an education... one in which as I learn I don't lose my shirt...

Is it safe to say, that a positional trade (or even a longer term trade), is no different from a daytrade + or - three days except for the compression of time?

Regards,
Peter
