OT: Victor, The punch card system can be still used as follows: After the holes are punched the voter places the card into another slot which reads the card and scans for errors. Say chads are not punched through or say, two votes were made for president. Next the voter must individually certify by signing the card, or punching a "yes" that he or she has certified that the vote was made according to the voter's wishes.

This can be done in the next election ot in a run-off.
