alex, i mentioned that i had to install a za patch. it was probably the upgrade to the most current version. i remember now that it was necessary to work with win2000 service pack 1. check out this za support topic: "I keep losing my ISP connection. I have a broadband connection (e.g. cable modem, DSL)" zonelabs.com and make sure you have the most current version 2.1.44 :) mark
