OT-
Fla Supreme Court has refused to hear petition from Gore Campaign to force Dade County to finish their hand recount.

Gore campaign is now saying that, Monday morning, they will contest the election with the Fla Supreme Court, assuming Bush remains ahead and Harris certifies the election by then.

Meanwhile, Bush Campaign has petitioned the US Supreme Court to disqualify all the hand recounts, and Gore Campaign will try to use states' rights argument to counter the Bush effort, i.e., that federal courts should not get involved with a state election. So if Gore fails in the Fla Supreme Court (which I think he will), he cannot go to the federal courts because he will have already argued that they should not get involved.

It appears the curtain is lowering ever more certainly on Gore2000.
