Regardless of who gets elected, "healing the nation" will not rank very high on the priority ladder. If D-Dubya-I assumes the White House, "revenge" will be the order of the day. His administration will be an extension of GOP hatred for Clinton and Democrats as exemplified in the impeachment proceedings and by the vitriol that spews forth from this board. The country is rolling along fairly nicely. Ergo, the stage is set for Repubs to "get even." Only a naive person would think that anything of substance will be accomplished the next four years on any social issue.
