pcstel - if there is something magic about going from 14.99% to 15.01% of the outstanding amount of a particular issue of a bond, then ... how about EACH of Loral, Globalstar, Qualcomm, Vodafone/Airtouch all just happening to decide to buy 15% of G* debt, and then somehow "engineer" the debt to be extinguished. (Maybe (for those other than G* and Loral) receiving a larger piece of Globalstar (?)) Jon.
