You may be right. The "Bild" Zeitung may indeed be a good contrary indicator. However,i do not think that all the bad news about Chrysler is out. Daimlers takeover of Chrysler has been nothing short of a disaster. Schrempp and Co. moves in the states have been dump and insulting and have done quite a bit of damage for the German image here in the states. They are still losing people left and right and my assumption is that the good middle managers will leave now, too after the top management is gone.
However, I love VW because the Passats, Beetles and Jetta's are selling like hotcakes here in CA and with the current exchange rates,this should bring in a lot of dough.
