Wow, get a grip LML... my opening remark was referring to myself and not to you! I was trying to be non-combative and confrontational.

Without drawing this discussion out too long, you still have not answered WHAT the the compelling reason that corporate executives or IT people are going to accept that makes them feel its important to have both apps and DBMS engines from the same vendor.

The only point you made was:

What does that have to do with the DBMS engine? If prospects feel that ORCL has the better solution then of course they are going to chose it. That was never my point.
