LOL... I agree with you on COF, but have not initiated a position yet. MBI ... do you know what the geographical distribution of their customers is? If the municipalities whose bonds they are insuring are concentrated in CA, NY, or MA, it could be a sweet "eroding tax base play". OMC... I've played that stock like a tin flute this year. I'm looking to re-initiate a short position in the mid 80s.
